Eat More For Fat Loss!

There was a time when I could get away with eating fast food almost every day and not have it show on my body (I dread to think of the damage it was doing inside my body). Those days are loooong gone!

I'm actually glad that they are. It's amazing how much better I feel now compared to back then. But it didn't happen over-night. I went through that same process of making gradual changes that I recommend to you.

It really is the best way to get on that healthy eating path. All you really need to do right now, is START. How? Well, here are some tips to get you going:

1 - Eat SMALL meals MORE often (yes, you heard me right!). Exercise raises your metabolism, eating small regular meals keeps that metabolic furnace burning. I recommend you eat at least 6 small meals (including snacks) everyday.

2 - Plan your meals. If you're a busy person without much time to ever eat, let alone 6 times a day, all it needs is some planning. We all make plans for daily activities, but somehow forget about planning our meals.

3 - Snack on: fruits (apples, berries bananas); nuts (un-salted cashews, almonds, walnuts) and low fat yogurt. Make sure these are readily available to you at all times.

4 - Don't try and change everything at once! Allow yourself to eat whatever you love to eat, but less often. Use those foods as treats for when you achieve an exercise/fat-loss goal.

5 - Remember you're human. If you slip up and get back into old habits (life throws up some curve balls to the best of us), take it on the chin and pick yourself back up. Respond by never giving up.

TRUTH: No amount of exercise can compensate for a bad diet.
