Why We Feel Good After Exercise - It's Not Just Physical!

I've always found that the toughest thing about going to the gym is getting off my backside. Once you're there you've got to do something. I've also found that sometimes, when you really don't feel like training, you can have the best session of your life!

Your training session is over, and suddenly a change occurs. Energy levels increase, mood improves, and a new you emerges. Magic? No, simply down to hormonal changes..

Exercise increases endorphins, the body's natural pain-killers; the brain releases serotonin, the "happy hormone". Hence mood enhancement.

So there you have it: increased health and fitness, calorie burning, improved mood, and a moderate super-human feeling. What a package!! If I could just bottle it...
